Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible partner JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our family. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram account @annephung, where I share my life- the highs the lows and everything in between. At the age of 1 and a half years old, my family and I came to America. If it wasn't for the hard work of my parents I might not exist today to share the journey with you. As I knew I could have a brighter future I set out to succeed and make my parents happy. It was my plan to attend school, graduate and get an employment that was good. After that, I was looking for to have a family and a wife. This was my vision of what success would look like. However, life was not so keen on my thoughts. Money and the prestige of my position was not what I wanted to be. I was convinced that I was wasting my life to earn a paycheck. As I began to move to a new path in life I began to discover that I was a personal trainer and what I wanted to do. I'm a sucker for exercise, enjoy being around people and helping them. It was in 2014 that I established my company which will mark my 7th year anniversary by 2021. In this field, there are not many Asian females. To be a leader in my field and provide quality coaching to assist others in achieving better health and happiness through creating a lifestyle tailored to suit their requirements and to reach their objectives. Also, I'm dedicated to supporting others so that they can achieve their goals, follow their passions and live the life you've always wanted to live. My career took off as I was enjoying the highest success of my life. But, my mom died just as my professional life began to fall off. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and is resting in Heaven and is with me in my mind and heart at all times. It's incredible how life can give us the exact instruction we require, even when we don't realize it. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways. I truly believe that my mom gave me a second chance to be alive through her passing. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. Now it was time for her to move on into her new chapter, and my chance to live an authentic and satisfying life. My 30's are the first time I really feel that I'm alive. My intention in the story I am sharing is to inform you that you're not the only one. I would like you to feel that love is real and that a therapy session can be normal. Health is your greatest asset. I pray that you will live every moment to the fullest and have a final resting place is not a regret, since that's the only thing we can count on during this lifetime.
