Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season four. She played a cook who was named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular cast member of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance. The show ended her time as she was seeking a more full-time role she was replaced with Jane Sibbett. Barone was the lead in The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season between 1995 and 1996 as well as The War at Home, from 2005 to 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Barone has also appeared in Desperate housewives as well as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately Housewives. In 2004, Barone was awarded her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the movie One Last Ride. Barone was cast as the mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - - three years following The War at Home concluded the film's run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of the character played by Barone for two seasons.
