Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is currently in her 5th year working with the Los Angeles Lakers. As a sports broadcaster Allie has been a five-time Emmy Winner, has over 10 years of experience as a sideline and sports reporter, and has more than ten years of time playing in competitive basketball. Before joining Spectrum Sports Net, Allie served as the sideline reporter in FOX's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports feature reporter for 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) and color analyst and sideline reporter for high school, the collegiate level of volleyball, basketball and track &field on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton was born in Ohio and has earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The University of Toledo in the fields of Sports Analysis and Communication as well as liberal Studies. The following year, after a successful high-school basketball career in Van Wert High School, including captaining the very first and only league title team from her school. Allie kept her winning streak going at UT. She was three times captain as well as a letter-winner during four years, helping the team to win the Mid-American Conference West Division in 2010. Clifton is also a veteran of The Q. Clifton played at The Q during the MAC Tournament when she was in Toledo.
